I’m Dr. Rena Pazienza, a licensed psychologist with over 9 years of experience providing evidence-based practices to support mental health in adults across the lifespan (18+).

My clients describe me as warm, empathic, collaborative, and strengths-based. I aim to provide a balance of support and challenge to help you meet your goals.
As an integrative therapist, I pull from different waves of cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, and acceptance-based therapies. I use relational and skills-based approaches tailored to the individual, with consideration to culture and context.
Together, we will work towards change. Treatment will be collaborative in nature and tailored to meet your needs.

Much of my career to date has been dedicated to community mental health. Following my role as a therapist in a community mental health center, I spent six years working as a psychiatric clinician and supervisor with a mobile crisis assessment team. In addition to clinical work, I’ve spent recent years engaged in clinical research and consulting.
I have specialized training and experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

Outside of work, I love to travel and to do all things outdoors. I enjoy hiking, biking, running, and connecting with nature. I also enjoy reading, painting, and going on adventures - and even better, doing all of the above with friends and family.
